Deposit Protection Insurance will protect the policy holder against the unforeseen costs that might be incurred in respect of the loss of a deposit payment in the event that the contractor whom the policy holder has contracted with has ceased trading and as a consequence the contractor is unable to complete the proposed works. 

Deposit protection insurance gives your customer peace of mind for as little as £40.00!**

Deposit protection insurance comes with an insurance backed guarantee at the end of works at no extra cost. Just let us know when the work has been completed and we will issue the Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG) for you.

All of our Deposit Protection Insurance polices cover 10 years bar Solar PV which are 2 years. 

The maximum amount payable in respect of all claims made against Deposit Protection Insurance is the lesser of 25% of the contract value; or the amount of the deposit payment; or £10,000.

No policy excess applies to Deposit Protection Insurance.

DPI has a term of up to 90 days but can be extended by 30 day periods where reasonable explanation for delay can be provided.

Cover is available for contract values of up to £250,000.

Our Insurance backed guarantees cover the FULL contract value. Some IBG providers will only cover a certain amount of the contract value. As above, an insurance backed guarantee will be automatically given after work has been completed if a DPI has been ordered.
